New system working for printer and the environment

Advek the Birmingham based printing company has recently installed new workflow technology into its working practises.
Using the latest Kodak workflow system the company are now able to print using artwork supplied via most software packages. This investment has halved the uptime previously needed to accept files. Artwork can now be uploaded directly to their FTP site or via a dedicated email address.
In line with Advek's strict environmental policy, the company now output plates using the latest computer to plate technology, in which no chemicals or water are used during process.
Peter Reece Advek’s works director said: "We are delighted with this new system as it's proving to be so much more efficient, which, with the tight deadlines we work to is a huge benefit to our customers."
